are a company dedicated to the manufacture and distribution of premium, automatic,
Flood Prevention Products. These include: Basepump
and Hydropump backup sump pump systems, Aquaguard water leak detection
systems,
Waterbags
inflatable sandbags for flood control, Hygienic Aire,
the air cleaner/mold killer, and various Accessories. Our mission is to use current technology, age-old
principles, and high quality, long lasting materials, to design
new and better solutions in the Flood Prevention industries. Our goal is to design and package products that
include everything the installer needs, saving time and money. Our
integrity and reputation are on the line every time a product goes
out of our door. We answer to you, our customer, and ultimately to
God, who is the highest authority. |
Company Profile
Beginning in the 1990's, Bill Bonifacio, our President and founder, was
tinkering with an idea as he was looking at a battery backup sump pump one
day at a friend's house. He was thinking that there must be another way to
remove water from the sump during a time of pump failure. After all, the
battery system he was looking at was limited by the battery it was
connected to. It could only run for a few hours, at best, and then what
would the homeowner do? Soon he realized that he could harness the water
power that exists in the plumbing system of most modern homes, and use
that power to drive a backup pump. There it was: a readily available
alternative energy source, that basically was unlimited, when compared to
the power of a battery system. He then went about designing what is today
known as Basepump, arguably the best water powered backup sump pump system on the
market. He joined forces with Jim Belle, a friend and active
investor, to form Basepump Company, which was later incorporated as Base
Products Corporation in 2002.

Base Products Corporation is a member of the Amherst (NY) Chamber of
Commerce as well as the Plumbing, Heating, Cooling Contractors Association
of Western New York. Mr. Bonifacio and Mr. Belle are both active in their church
and community, volunteering untold hours of time to several causes such as
Youth Conferences and Men's Ministries. These are faith-based efforts in
the Buffalo and Niagara Falls areas.
