Install Basepump using a
No-Sweat; solder free, water supply connection system. This system takes the fear out of the installation
process and saves a mountain of time!
Using all
push type fittings and suitable for piping into your existing
copper, CPVC, or PEX system, no special tools are needed. If you have a pair of
channel pliers and a
tubing cutter, you can tackle this job. Kit includes brass push
tee and adapter, full-port, threaded ball valve, pipe hangers,
hardware, and instructions. Approved for use with PEX and CPVC plastic tubing OR with copper pipe/tubing (TUBING or PIPE NOT
INCLUDED; YOU MUST OBTAIN LOCALLY). These fittings can be
used even in a mixed system of copper and PEX. That means if your house
is piped in copper and you want to install using PEX, or vice-versa, you
can use this system. Secure, leak-free connections are made in a moment,
saving loads of time. Keep in mind that when you buy these
fittings, you are saving TIME!! You are buying the confidence to do this
job at a minimal cost.
No torch, No crimping tools, No soldering paste or flux, No burned
fingers, No fire hazards, No frustrating leaks, No smelly adhesives, No
solder or other disposable materials. Just fast, easy, secure connections. Each push fitting comes with its own
built-in ferrule for PEX and CPVC tubing. No need to get your own
separately. Just push the PEX or the copper tubing into the opening and
as you do it reaches a positive "click" position and is
sealed. You can then turn the fittings if needed to line them up
properly. You can even disassemble them if you make a mistake and
re-assemble them quickly and easily.

Although we continue to recommend a separate discharge
pipe for Basepump, it sometimes is necessary or desirable to connect the discharges
together. This kit helps you do that without buying
un-needed parts. Simply cut out a pre-determined section from your main
pump PVC discharge pipe and connect this kit. With its own
built-in check valves, it automatically uses the main pump discharge pipe
as a suction pipe up to the check valve and uses the top portion of the
same pipe for the Basepump discharge!! When Basepump is inactive, the
main pump operates normally. The Basepump RB750-SDK comes mostly
assembled as shown to the right. The Basepump HB1000-SDK and CB1500-SDK

Single point Water Alarm can be used as an early warning of water
leaks under sinks, dishwashers, refrigerators, hot water tanks, in
sumps, basement floors, etc. It comes with a 6 foot wire attached to a
water sensor probe that can be placed where water can collect when a
leak occurs. It then sounds the alarm and as long as someone is nearby
to hear it, the leak can be controlled. (One of these alarms is INCLUDED
FREE with
every Basepump purchased)

Some states and municipalities recommend
or require some form of backflow device whenever there is the possibility
that potable water could be compromised in any way by ground water or
other contaminants. Regardless of how remote the possibility of this
occurring, the installer of such a product may want to add such a device
to the installation, or in some cases, may be required to do so. We have
two acceptable models available for this purpose. |

Simplest
and least expensive of available options. Insert this into the water
supply piping just before the Basepump and because of the redundancy,
that is, with the backflow preventive design of the Basepump itself,
coupled with this device, any failure of one is covered by the other.
This device reduces flow rates by less than 8% in most cases. Both
ends of this fitting are female threaded and this fitting acts like a
union so you don't need one if you get this. To use this with our
No-Sweat plumbing kit, you will need a male adapter for each end OR you
can screw one end onto the Basepump directly and insert the male adapter
that comes with the kit into the other end.

This
device is approved for use in every state and county. This device will
reduce flow rates by about 10% in most cases and may prevent Basepump
from working. If your bucket test
shows that you have plenty of water flow for the pump you are installing
with room to spare, then simply do the math to accommodate this device, to make
sure there will be enough flow to operate the pump. Keep in mind when
planning to use this device: it will need to be inspected annually by a
certified technician, so there is an on-going cost involved.

the manufacturer, as described below. Each has been carefully selected for optimum
performance in this type of application. When compared to Marine Deep
Cycle batteries, they require no monitoring or

If
upon initial inspection, installation and adequate charge the battery
fails, or the user identifies flaws in material or workmanship that
would impair life or product performance, the user will be instructed
to:

Upon written approval, return the product for examination, freight
prepaid.
2.
Hold the materials on site pending inspection by an MK Battery
representative.
Upon satisfactory proof of claim, as determined solely by MK
Battery, MK Battery will at our option, replace any defective battery.
Warranty
of a battery is defined as its failure to reach at least 80% of its
rated capacity. If a
properly maintained battery fails to meet 80% of its rated capacity, MK
Battery will replace the battery.
Costs for replacement/installation will be the responsibility of
the purchaser.
Warranty Exclusions and Limitations

Warranty claims for full replacement must be made within three (3) months from
failure.

This warranty is non-transferable.

This warranty does not cover any physical damage due to nature or man,
which stresses the battery beyond design limits, and is void if
manufacturing date codes are destroyed.

Negligence, accident, abuse, misuse including improper jump-starting, or
improper, unsuitable, or abnormal storage of the products.

Improperly installed or applied batteries.
Improperly charged (either under or over) batteries.
Opening of batteries that are designed and intended in use as
sealed products.
·
Physical damage due to acts of nature or man, which stress products
beyond design limits or other undesirable influences.
·
Normal “wear and tear”.
This
express warranty is the buyer’s sole remedy, and there are no implied
warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
