Battery Backup Sump Pump

Specifically designed for use in narrow sumps

This battery backup sump pump goes where other pumps cannot go. The pump sits on the floor instead of taking up space in the sump and uses a suction pipe to draw the water up from the sump. The included vertical float switch can be mounted out of the way so its operation won't interfere with your primary sump pump operation. This minimizes crowding and congestion in the sump.

Installation Summary

1. Place the pump on the floor next to the sump on its stainless steel bracket.
2. Connect the suction pipe with check valve from inlet at front of pump to bottom of sump.
3. Clamp the discharge hose to outlet at top of pump.
4. Use discharge hose to measure and mark location on main pump discharge for tee-in.
5. Cut a section out of your main pump discharge pipe and cement Tee assembly with hose adapter into place.
6. Clamp the discharge hose to tee assembly.
7. Mount the float set the position for proper operation.
8. Connect the battery cables to pump and charger.
9. Plug in the charger.

One12Volt Deep Cycle Marine, Sealed Lead Acid, AGM, or Gel Type Battery (optional second battery may be used). We recommend the use of a maintenance-free battery.
Battery sizes 27 - 31 typically fit: (Battery not included)

To fit our case, battery size cannot exceed:
13-1/2" L x 7" W x 10" H to top of terminals.

Within 30 days of purchase, if you are not completely satisfied with your new Hydropump, Base Products Corporation (The Company) will refund your money, in full, excluding shipping charges, as long as product is returned in its original packaging, unused, un-installed, and in re-salable condition, shipping pre-paid. Please contact the dealer where you purchased your pump to obtain refund. If purchased directly from Base Products, you must call our Customer Satisfaction Department at 1-800-554-1426 to receive return authorization or to receive Technical Assistance. Please give your name, address, phone number, purchase date, and installation address. 

The Company warrants this Battery Powered Backup Sump Pump against defects in material and workmanship for TWO YEARS from the date of the shipment. In the event of any defect in the pump unit within the warranty period, The Company will, at its option, replace or recondition the product without charge providing the product is returned, prepaid to our offices in Buffalo, New York. This shall constitute the exclusive remedy for any alleged defect. The Company shall not be responsible for any incidental, indirect, contingent, or consequential damages, including, without limitation, damages or other costs resulting from labor charges, delays, loss of use, revenue or profit, vandalism, negligence, fouling caused by foreign material, damage from peculiar water conditions, chemicals, electrical problems, or other circumstances over which The Company has no control. The Company makes no other warranties, express or implied, except as provided in this limited warranty. This warranty becomes void by any misapplication, misuse, abuse, or improper installation of the product. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state. Warranty is applicable in the USA and Canada only.
